Student Interview on To Kill A Mockingbird

February 7, 2017

In my Quest (advanced classes), I have my kids working on their own through To Kill A Mockingbird. Armed with an analysis packet and their pen, they set off on their own journey to discover what has made the book so famous. The packet was designed by me and was created from the 9th grade ELA Springboard curriculum. While they work at their own pace, I am able to hold individual student conferences that allow me to work one-on-one with students to dig into deep analytical content.

This was recorded during class, so the audio is not pristine; however, it is great to hear how my students think. I learned from him :-)
